Mary, the Mother of Jesus

She was instrumental in Jesus' first miracle of water turned into wine during a wedding in Cana. She greatly suffered at the crucifixion of Jesus, and was among the women present at the empty tomb on Resurrection Sunday. She was among the 120 at the upper room when the Holy Spirit gave the disciples power to establish the Christian Church. But in the 5th century 2nd Vatican Council they debated whether Mary was the mother of Jesus or the Mother of God. And the devil hijacked the name of the most-blessed of all women.
